Went to the opening of LAB ART last night. As one of the largest galleries in the nation dedicated to street art, the space spans 6,500 square feet on La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles.
Drawn from the street art movement, the Grand Opening Reception exhibition brought together approximately 300 works, by over 30 artists—both recognized names as well as up-and-comers. The line-up includes some of the most renowned urban artists in the world including: Alec Monopoly, Smear, Destroy All Design, Kai Aspire, Thank You X, Mar, Army of One/JC2, and Dog Byte.
Prices ranged from 3 to 5 figures…so there’s a wide range for all collectors. Congratulations to Rachel Joelson, all the artists, and everyone involved!
