I’ve posted about this before, but I thought it was worth a re-post because I love this product that much (and I have nothing to do with this company). When recuperating from injuries, I find that Kinesio Tape eases my pain, stabilizes joints, increases circulation, reduces lymphedema, and most importantly eases my mind.
It’s basically a super sticky and elastic tape that stays on your skin for about 2-3 days and gives you extra support wherever you place it (without having to use bulky braces). I think of it as an extra ligament or muscle layer that I can utilize in a pinch when needed. I don’t rely on it as a long term answer to chronic and serious issues, but it has definitely cut down my recuperation time and prevented further damage to injuries during times that I had to work injured.
You definitely need a trained therapist or trainer who has gone through the taping seminars to apply on you, but once it’s on it’ll hold in place for a few days.
